Part 2: Prediction for next DLC before the 1st expansion: Legendary Heroes My prediction is that these characters and units will either be implemented as part of a Lord Pack (also CA has said no DLC for DLC, although these plans might have changed) or be included as part of the predicted 2nd Daemons of Chaos game/expansion. The biggest omissions are from the Chaos Factions, who are mainly missing Legendary Lords and monsters that would be quite complicated to animate and implement, such as the Jabberslythe and the Mutalith Vortex Beast.
The Wood Elf roster is also entirely complete, so adding in the additional Hero’s and the Spellweaver Lord should be easy. For the Dwarves, Greenskins and Vampire Counts, the majority of their rosters have been completed by the Lord Packs and the missing units already have their functions served by others, so it is unlikely that they will be included. I’m not sure about the Master Engineer Hero for the Empire, as it could negate the Dwarves artillery advantage in that area. Most of the missing Empire units such as the knightly orders are almost certain due to the presence of the White Wold and Panther buildings already being present in game. Even so, they have missed a few Legendary Lords, Heroes and units from the tabletop, which I shall list here (This list is largely based on the 8th Edition Warhammer Fantasy Tactics guide on 1d4chan, kudos to them) I have also assigned a rating on my belief of the likelihood of these characters and units appearing in Warhammer Total War: Part 1: Content ‘Missing’ from current Factions Feel free to offer any ideas or suggestions! These predications are based on the Russian data leaks, any statements said by CA and my own personal judgement. With the release of the excellent Wood Elves DLC and the announcement of Bretonnia as FLC in February next year, it’s time to speculate and predict what the future DLC plans may be in the future.
